This week on the comedy club scene Carolines On Broadway in NYC, one of
America’s premiere comedy Clubs presents
Ron Funches
on Sunday, August 3rd at 7:30pm.
Ron who was featured as one of LA Weekly’s Most Interesting People has
also performed live on TBS’s CONAN O’BRIEN SHOW and is seen regularly on E!’s
CHELSEA LATELY.

On Tuesday, August 5th, The IMPROV in LA will play host to FULL
THROTTLE (recommended for ages 17+). On Wednesday, August 6th, LA’s THE GROUNDLINGS will
present one of L.A.'s longest running long-form improvisation
shows as The
Groundlings Players begin with three suggestions from the audience, and proceed
to weave improvisational stories together, traveling back and forth through
time, playing different characters in many different situations. It is a show you definitely do not want to
miss.
Writer/comedian Chris Franjola will be
appearing at Side Splitters Comedy Club in Tampa Florida on Thursday, August
7-9th (Chris also hosts the
show Sons of Anarchy after show "ANARCHY AFTERWORD" airing live on FX
Network.
Otherwise, the famed magic/comedy duo, Penn & Teller's edgy show is now
running at the Penn & Teller Theatre in Las Vegas.
The show is unlike any other
magic production in Las Vegas with the tall, lanky Penn serving as narrator, providing a running comedic
commentary on just about everything they do, while the diminutive Teller
provides a lot of the show's action.
