SPONGEBOB - Sponge Out Of Water has opened to a very big weekend by grossing more than $56,000,000 at the box office. This knocks the film AMERICAN SNIPER out of the #1 position where it has stood for the past six weeks.
You won’t need much catching up to enjoy the new SPONGEBOB because the plot is very simple. And, if you missed the first movie in 2004 SpongeBob- SquarePants, that’s OK.
You see, somehow and mysteriously the famed secret recipe for the Krabby Patties served at the Krusty Krab eatery has disappeared. Without their favorite sea bottom food, the locals have all gone completely mad. Therefore, SpongeBob and his trusty friends go on a quest and must come ashore in search of the culprits who have taken the recipe.
